According to them I was a mistake, they wanted a boy...... honeslty the way I see it, the parents get mad about something and end up taking it out on the kids a few times then realize what they did and apologize. Until they end up doing it again, and the kids start holding a grudge about it then the parents don't seem to understand what they r doing wrong, eventually all they do is accuse the kids of being immature Sometimes it gets so bad it leads to a point where everytime the parents to something, in the kid's mind it's like they are digging their own grave......lol with mine they are already 6 feet under You are so lucky to have parents like that(:

Some parents forget how hard it was to grow up. Some forget the daily struggles some go through. Some parents think if they just pat their kids on the back and think their kids are just perfect, better then the other kids around, they forget the pressure they put on their kids. Then the kids become bitter and start hating their parents, cause their parents refuse to see how bad things really are. Or that's at least how my family became so distant. A lot of parents really don't care about their kids, and it's really sad. It’s simple really. Some parents forget how hard it was to grow up. Some forget the daily struggles some go through. It might not be easy to understand when your family addresses problems privately but it's good to know there is a way that kids can safely vent and get answers to their questions. You haveto remember that sometimes parents try to control their children and monitor them in any way they can. Having controlling parents is incredibly frustrating and i don't blame children for feeling distant from their parents when they do these things. Some parents just won't let go. Sometimes they just have different opinions and personalities clash- they just can't see eye to eye on anything and so alot of fights break out. You can't blame anyone for having different views. I’ve never been that way with my parents and my parents have never been that way with me.
